Emigrants from Ireland 

         Note: Jeremiah Twohig and Mary Twohig were married on Feb. 2, 1837.  They were both Twohigs but distant cousins.

                     Both of them lived in Ireland and I don't believe that they ever came to America.  Cornelius J Twohig was my                                 grandfather.

I believe William J Twohig was born on June 10, 1864 in Ireland, I have not been able to validate the birth date. 

Julia O'Keeffe was born on or about May 20, 1856 in Ireland and she was baptized on May 21, 1856.

        

William J Twohig and Julia O'Keeffe were married in Ireland on Sept. 13, 1881.

 

Some of the children were born in Ireland and some in America.  Julia managed to travel back and forth during the children's birth years.
